Elena Basile is a teacher, researcher, translator and interdisciplinary artist working along the fuzzy edges of multiple corporeal, linguistic and cultural trajectories of belonging. She collaborates regularly with Roberta Buiani in research generation projects (see the TiP Lab<\/em> Paul H. Crocker Gallery, 2015<\/a>;\u00a0Arrivals + Departures, Myseum Intersection Festival 2018<\/a>). Her current collaboration with Buiani on the Who Cares? <\/em>speaker series stems from a long-term interest in fostering transdisciplinary conversations in the Health Humanities and a desire to experiment with, and cultivate, reparative pedagogies of care in the classroom and beyond.<\/p>

Roberta Buiani\u00a0<\/a> is an interdisciplinary artist, media scholar and curator based in Toronto. She is the co-founder of the ArtSci Salon at the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences (Toronto) and co-organizer of LASER Toronto.\u00a0 She is a research associate at the Centre for Feminist Research and a Scholar in Residence at Sensorium, Centre for Digital Arts and Technology (York University) and a lecturer in STS at the Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology (IHPST) and New College at the University of Toronto. Her recent SSHRC Insight Development research creation project investigates emerging life forms exceeding the categories defined by traditional methods of classification.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Catriona Reid is a second-year MA student in Art History and Curatorial Studies at York University. Her research interests include cartography, studies of the Anthropocene, and strategic marketing for art galleries. She is especially interested in how eco art can be used as a tool for enacting social change, particularly in regions prone to environmental resource extraction, exploitation, and political unrest. Catriona has worked for various not-for-profit and commercial galleries in Toronto and her hometown of Victoria, BC. Shalon T. Webber-Heffernan is an independent curator, writer, and doctoral candidate in the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies at York University. She is Educator-in-Residence at the Blackwood Gallery with the 2021\u201322 Curatorial Consortium where she created the Attunement Sessions and recently curated an exhibition at Vtape. She was Curator-in-Residence at the Curatorial Lab @ Sensorium (2019\u201320). Tita Kyrtsakas is a writer originally from Windsor, Ontario. She is a third year PhD student in English literature at York University and for three years, was editor-in-chief of\u00a0Feminist Space Camp Magazine<\/em>, an intersectional digital community for artists.
